Her eyes were an odd shade of grey and one of them was surrounded by an old bruise. there was a cut on her chest that drained blood thickly onto the lace of her camisole. she was barefoot and her jeans were frayed and ripped at the knee. “I’ve been waiting” I felt sick “come with me” I followed her out of pure second nature, she led me to an oak and effortlessly climbed it. just as she had in the dream. just as she had in the dreamHUMAN.
